My name is FASIKA LACHORE LABA. I am an Ethiopian, I was born on April 21, 1991 ‘Fasika,’ which means ‘Easter.’ I am the second among six children. I went Bahir Dar University in October 2011 and graduated in July 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology (IT). And I went back to University in 2017 to pursue my Post graduate studies. I was elected Pan African Coordinator for IMCS Pax Romana in October , 2018 and Joined the office in October 2019. On October 10, 2020, I was officially married to MONICA HAILE in the Cathedral of Apostolic Vicariate of Soddo. My inspiration comes from sharing the love of Jesus with others. ‘Love’ is what Jesus answered to the Pharisees when tested with the question, “What is the greatest commandment?” He said the first and greatest commandment is to “love God with all our heart, soul and mind,” then to “love our neighbor as ourselves.” When it comes to my motivation in the movement, nothing is more fundamental than love. Love is what gets me started and keeps me going. At all times and in all ways, love is the foremost and guiding principle. It is the basis of my reality. Without love for God, everything I do is meaningless. And these still keep me motivated in the movement.
